The Arran malt - sauternes cask finish

Wonderful experience. Quite spirity at first but opens up like blossom with the help of a few drops of water. Honey, as excepted but also some very light notes (citrus but not only). The taste is so long it reminded me the glorious Amrut fusion... Just richer and smoother. This was quite unexpected to be honest. I haven't spotted any sherry which i think makes it even more interesting. No peat at all either. A delight! Perfect to kick off a night in with sophisticated friends! 50%alc. www.arranwhisky.com
